Spring is such a wonderful time of year. Winter keeps us quiet, but I enjoy the white blanket surrounding our home and look forward to knowing that in a few months, everything will be fresh and new. The trees turn pale green, and their branches will burst with pink and green buds. The daffodils, tulips, hyacinths and crocus will explode with color in the garden. Last spring, we planted flowering bushes. Thankfully, they’re thriving in winter, so soon I’ll be checking them daily for that first bud of color that will make winter fade.
