Starting the next novel
Starting a new novel is such an adventure. Though I have an idea of what the characters will be like, the more I write the better I get to know them. I love it when that character takes over and tells me about himself. I learn what his life was like growing up. I learn what motivates him. I learn what he’s searching for.

I can’t wait for you to meet Sebastian. All he wanted to do was invent software, but God took that desire and gave the world genius creation. Sebastian now has to navigate through a life that makes him cautious, but what happens next exceeds his expectations.
Sparks fly
She was so close it was a natural desire to slip an arm around her waist, draw her close and kiss her. He froze. He wouldn’t ruin this moment by trying to satisfy an urge.
When she lifted her elegant hand to give him a high five, he tapped hers. A line queued at the counter, and she stepped to the order screen. Her fingers raced over the keys. The next order popped onto his screen.
