11/8/20, Thankful for Sweet Romance

Thankful for Sweet Romance

To be thankful for sweet romance in November makes sense since this is the month in which we give thanks. Click the link and you’ll have many reasons to be thankful.

Romance Novels

When romance novels were first published, they would be considered sweet by today’s standards. Then authors pushed the envelope and added sexier scenes to the novels. Readers loved these novels and the publishers created different imprints for readers to know the heat level of the novel.

Thankful on Sweet Romance

Even though these sexier romances attracted a great audience, there was still a reader segment who wanted to read sweeter versions of romance. And there’s a group of authors who are happy to write these novels. You’ll find some great reads in this group that will keep you turning pages throughout the holidays.

The Billionaire’s Christmas Wish

As a sweet romance author, I write what I want to read. I found myself flipping through the sex scenes, because I wanted to read about the relationship. When I wrote The Billionaire’s Christmas Gift, I wanted to show that relationship. The fun began when Chrystelle and Quint couldn’t deny their attraction to each other, but their disagreement on their television series was a barrier neither could cross.

And as we approach the holidays, I pray God’s peace and love surround you and your loved ones.

May God’s blessings touch your lives.

Love,

Laura
